About Me

Film history,(digital) production and entertainment exist in a continuum that informs my art/filmmaking practices. I use commercial and archival film as material, and appropriation and montage as strategies to illuminate the complex relationship of marginalized people to media representations. My collages combine my cinematic explorations with my jewelry training as paper ephemera are “cut” into flowers and mandalas motifs.
